Privacy policy
At Weddara we process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). This policy explains what data we process, for what purposes, and what rights you have.

What data we process and why
- Customers (the couple): your email address and the wedding details you add to your website (names, dates, venues, texts and photographs). Purpose: to create, save and publish your website, give you access via email sign-in links and provide support. Legal basis: performance of the contract and pre-contractual measures (the draft).
- Billing and payments: payments are processed through Stripe; Weddara does not store full card details. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (tax and accounting).
- Guests who RSVP: name, attendance, plus-ones, menu preferences, allergies and messages. This data is collected by the couple through their website; the couple are the data controllers and Weddara acts as a processor, limited to storing the data and displaying it to the couple.
- Contact form: name, email and message, in order to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: consent and pre-contractual measures.
Recipients and processors
We do not sell or disclose data to third parties. To provide the service we rely on providers acting as data processors with the safeguards of Art. 28 GDPR: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, EU region), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email) and Porkbun (domain registration). Some providers may involve international transfers, covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Retention
Your website data is kept while the service is active and until it expires or is deleted. Billing data is kept for the statutory tax and commercial periods. Unfinished drafts and contact messages are kept for a maximum of two years.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@weddara.com. If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Marketing communications
Only with your express consent (an optional checkbox when creating your website), we may send you communications about wedding products and services from Weddara and other Iborio Proyectos SL brands (such as Furia Experience, wedding entertainment). You can withdraw that consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hola@weddara.com. We do not sell or share your data with third parties outside the group.
Cookies
On weddara.com we use: (a) technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work (sign-in session and draft ownership), which require no consent; and (b) only if you accept them in the cookie notice, third-party analytics and advertising cookies — Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Analytics — to measure our campaigns and how the site is used. You can refuse them without affecting the service, and change your mind by clearing your browser cookies (the notice will appear again). Our customers’ wedding websites contain no advertising cookies.
